PLANTS
Overall, the Group has four plants for the different stages of production of steel products
SAN ZENO NAVIGLIO
The steel plant in San Zeno Naviglio is the main plant of the Group with an extension of roughly 491,860 m2 and a production capacity of about 950,000 tons of steel per year.
The plant includes an electric furnace, three refining furnaces, one of which is a twin, which allows two steel castings to be treated simultaneously, a degassing plant, two continuous casting lines and a water treatment plant.
PALLANZENO
The rolling mill of Travi e Profilati di Pallanzeno society is located in the centre of the Ossola Valley, a valley known for the presence of the Passo del Sempione, which still today represents one of the main gateways for trading between Italy and Europe.
GIAMMORO
Giammoro plant has a production capacity of 450 K t/ year and has the DEMAG beams mill specialized in the hot rolling of big and medium size HE and IPE beams, heavy earth moving special profiles, also for San Giovanni Valdarno supply and special profiles for rolling tracks.
The plant is also equipped with a finishing center.
SAN GIOVANNI VALDARNO
San Giovanni Valdarno plant is the mechanical division of the group with more than 50 years of experience in the production of track shoes and cutting edges; Its production capacity is around 60,000 t/ year.
