Overall, the Group has four plants for the different stages of production of steel products
Our people, with their skills and knowledge, and technologies and innovation, have created a cohesive, solid and integrated system of companies capable of achieving maximum synergies in the production of rolled products at competitive costs and with minimum environmental impact.
Overall, the Group has four plants for the different stages of production of steel products, with a production capacity of over 1,000,000 tons per year.
The steel mill is located in San Zeno Naviglio, where ferrous scrap is melted for the production of semi-finished steel products (blooms, billets, round bars and dog bone).
These are partly sold on the market and partly destined for the rolling mills of the Group, located in Giammoro and Pallanzeno for the subsequent processing phase which consists of rolling to obtain beams, angles and special profiles.
The special profiles produced by the two rolling mills are processed in the San Giovanni Valdarno plant to obtain grouser for earthmoving machines for the tractor and spare parts sector.
Through the subsidiary Acofer, the Group closes the circle of the production phase, with the distribution and sells of products and semi-products supplied by the factories. The company manages three warehouses in Italy located in Nave, San Giovanni Valdarno and Giammoro. The location of the warehouses strategically covers the entire Italian market.
